Hullo Gentlefolks and -Hobbits!

It is time for me to post a small update, and so I deleted my old Music Pack prior to uploading the new one. Unfortunately there seems to be not enough space available, so upload is denied.

That means due to my hastiness in deleting, this music pack is unavailable at this time. My apologies for the inconvenience and I hope to rectify this matter shortly.

I adore Django and look forward to playing these.  Thank you so much for sharing these songs with Crickhollow!

Update 2015-02-26:

Current version:  Toadflax-Pack version 002 - 12 tunes ranging from 1 to 8 parts. New is two versions of Blueberry Hill, for 1 and 8 players respectively. All files from version 001 of the music pack are included, just add this new pack and delete the old one. Find this pack in the Songs section of this site.

The new files have been parts-tagged for use with the recent SongbookBB 0.94 (or higher). Get SongbookBB at linawillow dot org.

Both Blueberry Hill and the previously uploaded Okie From Muskogee come with lyrics, which you may find in the Laurelin Hobbit's newspaper (The Bramblebury Gazette). And I would have posted links to the new Music Pack and both songs and also the Gazette itself but the forum won't let me, it says if I post too many links I'm a spammer!

Feel free to use these lyrics - I've no idea if anyone else cares to sing them, but since they are both about important parts of the Laurelin Hobbit community it seems right to me to make them publicly available.

Some of the Django Reinhardt pieces are perhaps of not so good quality. I will revise all files in this Music Pack once the new instruments have been released. Further, expect a tiny update to the Music Pack in Mid-March.

Notes for version 1:

For some time I have wanted to make some music available to all to use for jamming at chance meetings. And this music library is just the place to do it, thank you 2nd Breakfast (Crick).

So here you are! This first version mainly contains some works of Django Reinhardt, more of his will be added in later versions.

Please take time to read the readme included in the download.
