Hello friends!

You didn't think we'd forgotten did you?

We are just wrapping the Spring festival and are headed into an amazing Anniversary Festival. The smell of pipeweed is in the air too! All around the Shire, you can see the stirrings of the nice weather that is coming. Few things are more enjoyable n the Shire than a day at the bottom of the Hill along the river with a well-crafted fishing rod, a few pouches of my favourite pipeweed and an eye for a very large salmon. And with festivals, pipeweed and nice weather that can only mean one thing: Muddy Foot Day is here!

This now-annual Crickhollow celebration of pipeweed and ale will happen once again in the Shire on April 20 at the South Field in Michel Delving (35.0S x 75.0W). Entering it sixth year, Muddy Foot Day is about getting together and having a great time and celebrating all that is great about the Shire. This year we are even luckier as members of our community have also joined us as guest brewers and pipeweed farmers.

Festivities will kick off at 8pm (server time), and our last band will take centre stage at around 11pm (server time). Our line-up is a mix of returning friends and new ones. If you remember last year's Muddy Foot Day (and if you do, you did not partake in anywhere near enough of the party!), the celebrations this year will be equally memorable!

This could be one of my favourite line-ups ever:

8:00 - Mardi Gras Party
8:30 - The Breakfast Club
9:00 - The Flutterbyes
9:30 - Mushroom Stew
10:00 - The Stoors
10:30 - Legendary Tunes
11:00 - Purple Pipeweed Parlour Band

All fair folk of Middle-Earth are welcome to join us for another year of celebrating the pipeweeds and ales of the Shire. Can't wait to see you there!
