Shirefest 2019 Band Signups

Please read before applying:

Shirefest 2019 will be held at the Methel-stage on Crickhollow July 5th-7th and hosted by Second Breakfast. Bands should prepare sets of 50-55 minutes, as well as one or two encores that you can play if time allows. We're listing some additional times which will not be on the final schedule, but we want to know if there's any demand for earlier or later times each day. We know that some of you may need to discuss with bandmates or could have something unexpected pop up over the next two months, so please revisit this thread or contact Duidhrastir or Luventhariel right away if anything changes with your availability.

Please list your times on EDT (-4 GMT)/server time or indicate your local time zone. You can convert from your local time zone to the time in Boston with this tool. We hope to have a tentative schedule in place by June 15th, and a set schedule by June 18th, but we will update this thread as specific hours are filled. Applications will close once all slots are taken.

Of course, you may choose any dates you like for Shirefest. But I would point out that Weatherstock is scheduled for July. The main event will be later than Shirefest but you may clash with the preliminary Weatherstock concerts.

 We scoured the forums, Lotroartists, LMB's Weatherstock subforum, the official forums Events subforum, Weatherstock.guildlaunch, etc, and did not find any official (or even un-official) announcement for Weatherstock yet.  We've always felt that Crickhollow's Shirefest and Winterfest were complimentary to Landroval's Weatherstock and Winterstock, and absolutely do not want to compete. 

However, with no official announcement, not even a started new thread or page for Weatherstock XI, we weren't willing to sit on our hands until there was one.  Last year Weatherstock was in late July, same with the year before, and the year before that, so we felt we weren't going to step on any toes picking the first weekend in July.

Pretty much all of us here wish to play in Weatherstock too!

Well said, Luventhariel! Had we found any sliver of info that Weatherstock would be in the same time period (same week mainly) as Shirefest, we would have chosen a sooner date. Say, the last weekend of June.

Still, as it stands, I am confident that Shirefest will not conflict with any major events. This is especially due to this Shirefest being extra special, as we honor and remember the late Rosalie Rumble.

 I was just pointing out, in a friendly manner, that you may conflict. You are correct about the scheduling of Weatherstock (late July) but the Weatherstock Concert Series has in the past been in the 2 weeks before. We haven't announced an official date yet because there is still discussion on this year's format.
